Geocache Description:

T The Barnham FarmingTrail (BFT)

My Husband Richard and I live in Barnham and walk daily along the trail of 12 caches we have set. My family farm locally where I drive tractors for my Father, once I have finished my day job of being a Nurse. Driving the tractors are a passion of mine and it means I get to spend lots of time with my Dad! Every day our four working Cocker Spaniels; Mummy Fearn, Daddy Floyd, Daughter Breeze and Son Storm and I walk this circutous route which is approximately 7km and will take around 2hrs at a stroll.. Early in the morning when all of the wildlife are waking is a beautiful time of the day to walk, whether it's a fresh spring morning, or a crisp winter morning. In the dry weather the walk can be quite dusty as the footpaths take you through farmland, after rain it can be quite muddy as the walk follows the Barnham Rife, so you may need your wellies or a good pair of walking boots! If you have a water loving dog, be aware they probably won't be able to resist jumping in, ours need bathing daily (the joys of Spaniels!) The trail is easy to follow, just ensure you are on a footpath at all times and you won't get lost, please keep dogs on leads as you go through the farm. There are sheep in fields locally so please keep dogs under control to keep them (and sheep) safe. The trail is on flat ground, with five footbridges, some with kissing gates to access and two stiles which have access under for dogs. Because of the kissing gates and stiles you probably would'nt want to be taking a pram, unless you want to lift them over.

The Caches are named after a mix of tractors and significant members of our farming family to include my Dad; Farmer Bruce, Uncle Farmer Keith, Son Farmer James, Nana Farmers Wife and my dear late Grandad, Farmer John. There is a mix of traditional style caches with a few giving a nod to our wildlife! A little tip, you may need a pair of tweezers for a few of the chaches and maybe a pair of gloves as some of the caches may have a prickly entry at certain times of the year.

We hope you enjoy the beautiful scenery as much as we do and enjoy clocking up those cache numbers! In addition to the coords we have added within the hint the 'What 3 Words' (if you don't know what this is, google it and you can download the App).
