In the area for the Maryland Geocaching Society's Fall Picnic and looking for something to do on Saturday night? Come on by campsite #2 at Fort Frederick State Park and spend some time around the campfire sharing stories, TB's and time amongt friends. Quiet time starts at 11:00 PM. We need to be finished and the fire out by that time.
If you are not camping in the park, you will be required to park in the visitor's center parking lot and we will give you a ride to the campsites. We will give out several phone numbers the day of the event to those that will need a ride. Please bring a chair and a mask. We did get approval for this event but everyone needs to be out by quiet time.

Why YOU, of course...whether you have one cache find or a hundred thousand cache finds, please feel free to come join us for a small meet and greet.

Why:
To wind down, talk geocaching, and trade bugs. Those who wish to may also do some geocaching before or after the event.
Extra things to keep in mind:
- If you pick up a Travel Bug or trackable coin at one of the events, make sure you log it out so it doesn't show up in the events list. If a trackable sits as being listed in the event for a couple of months, the cache owner is the one that gets the e-mail from the TB owner(s).
- This event is totally free. Munchies and consumables may be brought for yourself or to share around the campfire.
