For Archaeoptryx, you will need all the fortitude you can muster to face this prehistoric menace. Wings (or considerable upper body strength) will be very helpful. A certain tool of the trade may be desirable for some. This cache is located along the Reedy Fork Mountains-to-Sea Trail. Take note of the trailhead coordinates; at most times, you may park at the end of the school lot closest to it. You can see the trailhead sign behind the fence at the endmost house across the road from the parking lot.
Please do not hunt this cache after dark. For safety’s sake, you may wish to not go after this one alone. Please note: This cache has the terrain rating it does for a reason. As with all geocaches, you claim the find when you sign the log. "Seeing" the container does not constitute a find.
