Numa manhã destas, fui a um local que desconhecia, do qual já me tinham falado.
A “Buraca da Moura” em Ladeira, na freguesia de Envendos- Mação.
Fui com um colega e nenhum de nós sabia exactamente onde era, apenas que estava voltada mais ou menos para nascente.
Tal como em muitas outras zonas rochosas do nosso concelho, aqui também estas fragas são de quartzito, uma rocha metamórfica, e são principalmente compostas por quartzo entre outros compostos. À primeira vista parece uma rocha bem feia, mas ao ser partida logo descobrimos cristais de quartzo que apesar de vulgares têm a sua beleza.
Depois de chegarmos aquela serra, não foi assim tão fácil dar com o local exacto pelo que cada um foi para seu lado até encontrar-mos a dita buraca da moura. Não sei quanto tempo levamos ao certo a dar com aquilo, mas já estava cansado de subir e descer “barrancos”.
Engraçado que, ao chegar perto do local, encontrei algumas penas de Grifo, e não é de admirar pois eles andavam mesmo por lá.
Aquele buraco realmente é um pouco estranho, pelo menos o facto de aparecer daquela forma no meio de tanto “pedregulho”. Por lá reparei que alguém andou por lá a “escavar” pois debaixo de uns barrotes e umas paletes está escondido um buracão, agora o que de lá saiu não sei…
Por ali encontrei vestígios de um trilho, este marcados por algumas “mariolas”, em tempos eram mais usadas, hoje com as novas tecnologias nem tanto. Estes pequenos conjuntos de pedras sobrepostas em cima umas das outras serviam para marcar caminho no meio do campo. Normalmente de uma “mariola”, avistamos a anterior e a seguinte…

One morning, I went to a place I didn't know about, which I had been told about.
The “Buraca da Moura” in Ladeira, in the parish of Envendos- Mação.
I went with a colleague and none of us knew exactly where it was, only that it was more or less facing east.
As in many other rocky areas in our municipality, here these fragments are made of quartzite, a metamorphic rock, and are mainly composed of quartz among other compounds. At first glance it looks like a very ugly rock, but when it is broken we soon discover quartz crystals that, despite being common, have their beauty.
After arriving at that mountain range, it was not so easy to find the exact location, so each went to his side until we found the so-called moorish hole. I don't know how long it took for us to get on with it, but I was tired of going up and down "ravines".
Funny that, when I got close to the place, I found some Gryphon feathers, and it's no wonder that they were really there.
That hole really is a little strange, at least the fact that it appears that way in the middle of so much "boulder". Over there I noticed that someone had been “digging” because under a beam and pallet a hole was hidden, now what I left there I don’t know…
There I found traces of a trail, this one marked by some “mariolas”, in times used more, today with new technologies not so much. These small sets of stones superimposed on top of each other served to mark the way in the middle of the field. Usually of a “mariola”, we see the previous and the next…
