Cette boucle vous laissera doucement glisser des berges aménagées de la cité thermale aux méandres naturels de la rivière Allier qui dévoile son véritable caractère sauvage que certains retrouveront mais que beaucoup découvriront. Quelques kilomètres après les parcs d’Allier on découvre celui d’Abrest. Au pied de son église, la passerelle ferroviaire offre un point de vue unique sur l’Allier et vous transporte en rive gauche. C’est une véritable invitation à une pause aux côtés des pêcheurs qui animent la boire Talon. A mi-chemin entre pleine nature et berges aménagées, la Boucle des Isles vous ramènera à la civilisation par les jardins familiaux très soignés de Bellerive-sur-Allier à deux pas d’un peuplier noir âgé de 80 ans. Après quelques mètres, vos sens olfactifs s’éveilleront à proximité des nombreux restaurants offrant des terrasses incroyables au bord de l’eau. La suite du parcours vous ramènera dans les majestueux parcs de Vichy pour une halte, vous rafraîchir sur la plage ou vous initier aux activités nautiques et sportives proposées tout l’été sur le lac d’Allier. Sur le trajet, en plus des zones de pique-nique ombragées.

Le stade du tir au pigeon (stade universitaire) est en pleine rénovation. Il y a actuellement:

un terrain de football qui a été mis en service en Avant 1945, cet espace sportif dispose d'un sol en gazon naturel et compte 200 places en tribune.

un terrain de rugby également en gazon naturel.

un skatepark fait par les riders locaux. Pour une conception artisanale, il dépote vraiment. Il est accessible aux rollers, skateboards et BMX sans pegs (tout est en bois). C'est un park associatif. Il faut donc se procurer une carte de membre. Le port de protections y est obligatoire. Les riders de l'association sont intransigeants, d'autant plus qu'ils ont déjà eu des problèmes à ce sujet auparavant.

This loop will let you glide gently from the landscaped banks of the spa town to the natural meanders of the Allier river which reveals its true wild character that some will find but that many will discover. A few kilometers after the Allier parks we discover the Abrest park. At the foot of its church, the railway footbridge offers a unique viewpoint over the Allier and takes you to the left bank. It’s a real invitation to take a break alongside the fishermen who animate the Talon drink. Halfway between the countryside and landscaped banks, the Boucle des Isles will take you back to civilization through the very well-kept family gardens of Bellerive-sur-Allier, a stone's throw from an 80-year-old black poplar. After a few meters, your olfactory senses will awaken near the many restaurants offering incredible terraces by the water. The rest of the route will take you back to the majestic parks of Vichy for a stopover, to cool off on the beach or to introduce you to the water and sports activities offered all summer on Lake Allier. Along the way, in addition to the shaded picnic areas.

The pigeon shooting stadium (university stadium) is undergoing renovation. Currently there are:

a football field which was put into service in before 1945, this sports space has a natural grass floor and has 200 seats in the stands.

a rugby pitch also made of natural grass.

a skatepark made by local riders. For an artisanal design, it really deposits. It is accessible to rollerblades, skateboards and BMX without pegs (everything is made of wood). It is an associative park. You must therefore obtain a membership card. Wearing protection is compulsory. The riders of the association are uncompromising, especially since they have had problems on this subject before.
