INTRODUZIONE
Cortone è il più ampio dei monti di Moghegno. È collegato al paese grazie ad una pista patriziale carrozzabile, ma l’accesso è riservato ai possessori di un permesso. Il monte si situa a 1100 m.s.m, è pianeggiante con numerose stalle trasformate negli scorsi decenni in case di vacanza.
Un tempo questo monte serviva da pascolo per il bestiame. Le stalle erano suddivise in quattro parti principali: nella parte superiore (tècc zorínt) c’era una parte abitativa e un fienile, separato da una stranciüra (travi disposte orizzontalmente che servivano a sostenere l’intera struttura); nella parte inferiore (tècc zotìnt) c’era una cantina per la conservazione di formaggio e lo spazio destinato al ricovero del bestiame.
La pista carrozzabile che raggiunge Cortone, della lunghezza di 7 km, è stata realizzata nel primo dopoguerra dai volenterosi e lungimiranti giovani del paese, che al termine della costruzione, nel 1933, hanno posato una Croce al Mátar (promontorio dal quale si gode una bella vista sulla zona circostante).
Dal 1983, ogni tre anni, l’associazione Pro Cortone organizza una festa al Monte, abbinata negli ultimi anni anche da una corsa popolare lungo la strada.
Oltre a Cortone, Boll, Piegn, Teciáll, Madrüna e Costa sono i principali monti di Moghegno. Tutti sono situati nella Valle del Lareccio, che separa Moghegno da Aurigeno. Scendendo da Cortone lungo un sentiero piuttosto impervio, si raggiunge il riale omonimo e si può risalire verso il Passo della Garina.

INTRODUCTION
Cortone est la plus vaste des montagnes de Moghegno, reliée au village par un chemin carrossable appartenant au patriciat, dont l’accès est toutefois réservé aux personnes détenant un permis. Cortone s’élève à 1100 m.s.m, sur une surface relativement plane. Les nombreuses étables s’y trouvant ont été transformées en maisons de vacances durant ces dernières décennies.
Cette montagne servait autrefois de pâturage pour le bétail. Les étables étaient divisées en quatre parties principales : dans la partie supérieure (tècc zorínt) il y avait une partie habitable et une grange à foin, séparée par une « stranciüra », c’est-à-dire par des poutres disposées horizontalement pour soutenir toute la structure ; dans la partie inférieure (tècc zotìnt) il y avait une cave où l’on conservait le fromage, et un espace abritant le bétail.
Le chemin carrossable pour atteindre Cortone, de 7 km de long, a été réalisé au début de l’après-guerre par les jeunes du village, décidés à s’impliquer et clairvoyants. A construction terminée, en 1933, ils ont érigé une croix au Matàr, un promontoire d’où l’on jouit d’une magnifique vue sur la région environnante.
Depuis 1983, l’association Pro Cortone organise tous les trois ans une fête sur cette montagne, combinée ces dernières années à une course populaire pour gravir le sentier.
A part Cortone, les autres principales montagnes de Moghegno sont : Boll, Piegn, Teciáll, Madrüna et Costa. Elles sont toutes situées dans la Vallée du Lareccio, qui sépare Moghegno d’Aurigeno. En descendant de Cortone au long d’un sentier plutôt escarpé on arrive au torrent et on peut remonter vers le Col de la Garina.

EINFÜHRUNG
Cortone ist der grösste Berg von Moghegno. Er wird dank einem befahrbaren Pfad, der dem Patriziat angehört, ans Dorf verbunden, doch wird der Zugang nur den Inhabern eines Ausweises zugelassen. Cortone befindet sich auf 1100 M.ü.M auf einer relativ ebener Fläche, wo zahlreiche Ställe in den letzten Jahrzenten zu Ferienhäusern umgebaut wurden.
Dieser Berg wurde früher als Weide fürs Vieh genützt. Die Ställe bestanden aus vier Hauptteilen :
im höheren Teil (tècc zorínt) gab es einen bewohnbaren Teil und einen Heuspeicher, der von einer stranciüra abgetrennt war (tragende Balken, welche die ganze Struktur quer unterstützten) ; im niedrigeren Teil (tècc zotínt) gab es einen Keller zur Aufbewahrung von Käse und einen Schutzraum fürs Vieh.
Der befahrbare Pfad, der zu Cortone führt, ist 7 Km lang und wurde in der frühen Nachkriegszeit von einsatzfreudigen und zukunftsorientierten Jungen des Dorfes verwirklicht. Als das Werk im Jahre 1933 beendet war, errichteten sie ein Kreuz auf dem Mátar (von diesem Fels aus geniesst man eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Umgebung).
Seit dem Jahre 1983 organisiert der Verein Pro Cortone alle drei Jahre ein Fest auf dem Berg, das in den letzten Jahren auch mit einem volkstümlichen Rennen entlang der Piste verbunden wurde.
Ausser Cortone gibt es noch weitere Gebirge von Moghegno, nämlich: Boll, Piegn, Teciáll, Madrüna und Costa. Sie alle befinden sich im Lareccio-Tal, das Moghegno von Aurigeno trennt. Wenn man von Cortone entlang einem steilen Weg hinabsteigt, kommt man zum Wildbach, von wo aus man zum Passo della Garina hinaufsteigen kann.

INTRODUCTION
Cortone ist the largest mountain of Moghegno. It is connected to the village through a vehicle accessible path belonging to the patricians, so the access is reserved to the possessors of an authorization.
The mountain is situated at 1100 m on a relatively flat surface, where many stables have been transformed in holiday homes in the past decades.
Long time ago this mountain was used as cattle grazing. The stables were divided in four main parts: on the upper part (tècc zorínt) there was an habitable part and a hayloft, which was separated by a “stranciüra” (horizontally arranged beams to support the whole structure); on the underpart (tècc zotínt) there was a cellar to store cheese and a space to shelter the cattle.
The vehicle accessible path to reach Cortone, with a length of 7 km, had been performed in the immediate after war time by the enthusiastic and forward-looking young people of the village. As they were achieving the work, in the year 1933, they built a cross on the Mátar, a promontory from where it is possible to enjoy a stunning view on the surrounding area.
Since 1983 the association Pro Cortone has been organizing all three years a party at the mountain, that has been connected in the last years with a popular race along the way.
Besides Cortone, the most important mountains of Moghegno are: Boll, Piegn, Teciáll, Madrüna and Costa. They all are situated in the Valley of Lareccio, which divides Moghegno from Aurigeno. Coming down from Cortone along an arduous path we get to the stream and we can climb again towards the Passo della Garina.
