DESCRIPTION DE LA GEOCACHE
Les coordonees du listing sont de l’emplacement de la cache. La cache est une petite boite L&L de 0,4L. La cache est dans les rochers au pied de la croix, derrière quelques pierres. Cacher bien après avoir trouvé!
/!\ Attention: l'accès au Mont Chauffe est difficile! En général, les sentiers d'accès et de retour sont raide et des passages dangereux en raison des chutes de pierres ou des conditions locales des "sentiers". La dernière partie contient un passage Alpine T3. A conseiller au bon randonneur et par beau temps! Restez en sécurité. Ne prenez aucun risque!
Le Mont Chauffe (Face des Crottes):
Access par Parking le SAUVAGE. Depuis le carrefour du Sauvage (1229), suivre la (nouvelle) piste forestière de la Raille jusqu'au chalet de Crébin (1500). Suivre alors une croupe en direction du NE jusqu'aux environs du lieu-dit Sur les Crottes. Avant d'arriver à ce point traverser sur la gauche (N) jusqu'à la base d'un couloir SE (WP1) permettant de franchir les falaises inférieures de la Petite Raille (40/45 sur une centaine de mètres). À la sortie du couloir prendre droit dans des pentes moins inclinées jusqu'à la base de l'arête du Petit Chauffé (arête SE du Mont Chauffé). Des pentes à 45° donnent alors accès au fil de l'arête qu'on suit vers l'W en direction du sommet. Après un passage un peu mixte on débouche sur le grand plateau en dévers juste sous le sommet. Passer devant la sortie du couloir de Chevenne et monter jusqu'à la base des rochers sommitaux, plutôt à main droite. Par quelques pas d'escalade peu difficile et la traversée (à gauche) de 2 petites combes suspendues neigeuses, atteindre le sommet du Mont Chauffé. Ici on trouve la nouvelle croix (2020). GEOCACHE DESCRIPTION
The coordinates of the listing are the location of the cache. The cache is a small L&L box of 0.4L. The cache is in the rocks at the foot of the cross, behind some stones. Hide well after finding!
/!\ Warning: access to Mont Chauffe is difficult! In general, the access and return trails are steep and dangerous passages due to rockfall or local "trail" conditions. The last part contains an Alpine T3 passage. Recommended for good hikers and in good weather! Stay safe. Do not take any risk!
The Mont Chauffe (Face of the Crottes):
Access by Parking le SAUVAGE. From the Sauvage crossroads (1229), follow the (new) Raille forest track to the Crébin chalet (1500). Then follow a ridge towards the northeast of the surroundings of the place called on the droppings. Before arriving at this point, cross on the left (N) to the base of a SE corridor (WP1) allowing you to cross the lower cliffs of the Petite Raille (40/45 over a hundred meters). At the end of the corridor, take a straight line on less inclined slopes to the base of the Petit Chauffé ridge (SE ridge of Mont Chauffé). Slopes at 45 ° then give access to the edge of the ridge that we follow towards the west towards the summit. After a somewhat mixed passage on leads to the large plateau, overflowing just under the summit. Pass in front of the exit of the couloir de Chevenne and climb up to the base of the summit rocks, rather to the right. Célébrer 20 ans de géocaching
En mai 2000, la restriction GPS a été libérée. Geocaching adapté des cartes analogiques aux ressources et applications numériques. En 2020, le siège de geocaching.com célèbre cet anniversaire avec des événements communautaires spéciaux. Les géocacheurs du monde entier s'adressent à cette célébration avec des géocaches dédiées.
Célébration du 5e Concours (CVA2021) et des 10 ans desMontagnards74
En 2003, les premières géocaches ont été placées à Val-d’Abondance. Cela a été célébré avec un concours organisé par l'équipe de géocaching valdabondance.com. Depuis mai 2010, Lesmontagnards74 a placé plus de 130 caches dans la région et quatre concours ont été organisés depuis 2016. Le 5e anniversaire était prévu à l'été 2020. En raison de Covid-19, le concours est reporté à 2021. Désormais, le concours aura lieu entre août 1 2020 et 1 août 2021: CVA2021.
CVA2021 (Concours Val-d’Abondance 2020-2021)
Pour l'édition anniversaire 2020-2021, 4 sentiers de cache ont été placés dans la zone. L'idée est de placer 20 géocaches au total:
*Abondance: Le Pretairie (P) / Entre-deux-Pertuis / Roc de Tavaneuse et Mont Chauffe*;
*Chatel: Col de Morgins - Tête de Linga;
*La Chapelle-d’Abondance: Chevenne - Col d’Ubine et Refuge de Trebentaz;
*Morgins: L’Eau Rouge et Tovassière - une extension de l’Ancienne Plage.
Comme il s'agit d'une année spéciale avec des triples anniversaires, nous avons décidé de créer des multi-caches courtes.
Des événements seront proposés à un stade ultérieur, en fonction des implications et des réglementations de Covid-19.
Celebrating 20 years of geocaching
In May 2000 the GPS restriction was released. Geocaching adapted from analog maps to digital resources and applications. In 2020 geocaching.com headquarters is celebrating this anniversary with special community events. Geocachers around the world address to this celebration with dedicated geocaches.
Celebrating 5th Concours (CVA2021) and 10 years of LesMontagnards74
In 2003 the first geocaches were placed in Val-d’Abondance. This was celebrated with a concours organised by geocaching team valdabondance.com. Since May 2010 Lesmontagnards74 has placed over 130 caches in the area and four concours have been organised since 2016. The 5th anniversary was planned in Summer 2020. Due to Covid-19 the concours is delayed to 2021. Now the concours will take place between August 1 2020 and August 1 2021 : CVA2021.
CVA2021 (Concours Val-d’Abondance 2020-2021)
For the 2020-2021 anniversary edition 4 cache trails have been placed in the area. The idea is to place 20 geocaches in total:
