La Madone du Favrot fut érigée en reconnaissance après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Elle est célébrée, comme dans toute la région, le 8 décembre de chaque année, en remerciement pour la fin de la peste noire dans la région de Lyon.

The Madonna of Favrot was erected in recognition after the Second World War. It is celebrated, as in the whole region, on December 8 of each year, in thanks for the end of the black plague in the region of Lyon.
