## DE ## Nachdem ich nun schön länger im Team mit den GEO's unterwegs bin und auf der heutigen Wanderung um die Linachtalsperre meinen 100 
Cache gefunden habe, wollte ich an diesem tollen Platz nun selbst mal einen Cache auslegen! Ich hoffe sehr, dass euch dieser Cache und die damit verbundene (Rund)Wanderung um den Stausee und über die Linachtalsperre viel Spaß machen! Liebe Grüße von geo_mat
Die Linachtalsperre in Vöhrenbach ist eine 25 Meter hohe und 143 Meter lange Talsperre aus Beton. Sie ist die einzige Gewölbereihenstaumauer in Deutschland und steht unter Denkmalschutz. Aus Kostengründen wurde diese materialsparende Bauweise gewählt. Weitere Beispiele für das Konstruktionsprinzip einer solchen Staumauer in „aufgelöster Bauweise“ gibt es unter anderem in Belgien, Italien, Frankreich, der Schweiz und in den USA. (C) Wikipedia

## EN ## Now that I have been on the road with the GEO's for a longer time and found my 100 cache on today's hike around the Linachtalsperre, I wanted to place a cache at this great place myself! The Linachtalsperre in Vöhrenbach is a 25-meter high and 143-meter long concrete dam. It is the only arched row dam in Germany. This material-saving construction method was chosen for cost reasons.
