Welcome to the Ohio GeoClash & Festival 2021!
Join us at the beautiful Knox County Fairgrounds in Mount Vernon, Ohio
for a battle for the ages!
This event will have a little bit of something for everyone. The thrill of the hunt, the glory of battle, the wonders on display from all of our fantastic vendors,
and the celebration of friendship with your closest geo-pals.
There is no requirement to participate in the challenge to attend the event. There will be many activities taking place at the event location on Saturday 6/5 for those that choose to hang out at the fairgrounds instead
Beginning Friday morning (6/4/2021), you can pick up your event game card at the fairgrounds (location TBD).
There will be 50 new caches released in the local area starting Friday morning, each with a stamp to use to stamp your game card.
For every stamp you collect on your game card, you will earn one prize drawing ticket (with a bonus 10 tickets for completing the entire card). Also for each stamp you collect on your game card, you will earn points that contribute to your team total. Each player will be playing for one of five teams (chosen by the player). You can choose from one of the four Ohio regions in which you reside (NE, NW, SW, SE) or out-of-state. All game cards must be turned in by 4pm on Saturday 6/5/2021 for counting.

The winning team will then be declared the Ohio GeoClash 2021 Champion, with a trophy presented to the regional vice president of winning region to be held for one year.
In Addition to the cache finding fun, we will have other geocaching activities on site for everyone to enjoy! We will announce additional activities as the details are finalized in the coming months! STAY TUNED!

Thursday June 3, 2021 - Early Arrivals Kickoff Party - 6:00p-9:00p (Location TBD)
Friday June 4, 2021 - GeoClash Opening Ceremony - 9:00a-10:00a (Fairgrounds)
(Event cache locations will be revealed at the opening ceremony - caches will also be listed in a bookmark list on the event page shortly after the opening ceremony concludes in case you can't make it).
Friday June 4, 2021 - FRIDAY EVENING EVENT - 8:00p-10:00p (Location and details TBD)
Saturday June 5, 2021 - GeoClash Main event - 9:00a-4:30p (Fairgrounds)

LODGING INFORMATION
We will be offering camping on site at the event. Campsites can be pre-paid online in the event store. More details to come.
For those of you who would prefer a hotel, there are numerous hotels around the area to stay at. We are currently working with the visitors bureau to square away all the details on nearby hotels. We'll provide more information as it becomes available to help everyone.
