Community Celebration Events (2020-2022)

International Geocaching Day 2022 and the World Record Attempt
I must say I initially struggled with ideas of what to use my Community Celebration Event for, but eventually settled on going to celebrate International Geocaching Day this year, especially as we could very well achieve a world record this year by having the most people log a cache, attend an event, or do a Lab cache on this date. The current record is 126,833 explorers and it was set on August 11, 2013. Groundspeak are hoping we can beat the record this year! :D
Souvenirs:
If this is your first time at this type of event (Community Celebration), you'll automatically get a souvenir for attending this. You'll also get a souvenir for logging a find/ attend an event, or do a Lab cache on International Geocaching Day itself, but the real kicker is that if we do break the world record - we'll get another souvenir awarded to us retroactively from HQ! :)
So, come along, bring some trackables and we'll have a bit of banter and swap some stories and tips for caches - if you're stuck on any of my caches, seriously, just ask! I'm happy to help! :)
Another thing - this is also my 100th event, so I see no better way to use my Community Event than for something like this. :)
If there's any problems with the location with the Fringe Festival on, I'll post an update if there's a change of venue - please keep an eye out for updates!
