For my 100th cache placement I am happy to finally hold my Community Celebration event that was awarded back in 2020. With the pandmic situation improving we have much to celebrate this year, and you'll gain the Blue Switch Day souvenir just for attending. As of this writing there are no masking requirements in effect in Tompkins County, but if this changes I will post an announcement to that effect. You are, of course, free to wear a mask if you feel more comfortable doing so. As of 4/27 Tompkins County is now recommending (but not requiring) wearing of masks in public spaces. Please consider wearing a well-fitting mask, and recognize that the Triphammer Mall may have imposed their own masking requirement for entering the space by Saturday morning. Any additional developments will be posted here.
The posted coordinates will take you to parking, and we will meet in the indoor courtyard inside the building in front of Ithaca Bakery. Feel free to pick up some food or a beverage from Ithaca Coffee Company or Ithaca Bakery, but no purchase is required. There will be no set agenda, just a chance to meet and greet. These events were required to be scheduled for at least 2 hours long, but feel free to drop in and stay as long (or as short) as you like. I will hope to put out at least one new cache in honor of the occasion, and will be happy to provide hints (up to and including spoilers) for my most recent caches (some of which are very close to this spot!) Let's celebrate!
