On my way through Hillside Woods scouting locations in other sections of the park I noticed that I could squeeze a cache in between 'Crossing Paths' by H2"O" and 'The Forgotten EWB Trail' by MatthewCat. The eastern section of the park doesn't seem to get as much traffic as the area closer to the pond and Hillside Elementary but offers a nice little hike if you do the whole loop of the yellow trail. This cache is located off the yellow trail almost equidistant between the two above stated caches.
The cache is a small lock n' lock container located slightly uphill from the yellow trail. Not too much room for trade items, but a small TB or geocoin would fit. A pen is provided but it is always advisable to have your own on hand. The cache will be harder to find after a big snow, but nonetheless still available. The quickest access to the cache is available by parking along the street on Edgewood Drive and entering the park there. For a longer hike park at Chemka Pool or along Chauncey Lane depending on how long you have.
The waypoint was averaged using a Garmin Etrex 10 GPSr. Have fun and happy trails!
