We wanted to create a geocache for Covid-19 times that people can enjoy finding. We want everyone who finds it to have the opportunity to get some First to find Kudos as we think this will make it more enjoyable. So feel free to log this if you find it...... But if you want a first to find be creative..... the more creative the better and the less likelihood someone will have beaten you to it! Some examples might be 1) first to find wearing odd socks 2) first to find doing a 3 legged walk 3) first to find on a unicycle.... everyone must be different and I'm sure you will come up with some fantastic ideas. Add a first to find reason to the log online and a photo proving this was how you found it!

Also enjoy this little nature haven that is North Kelvin Meadow and Childrens' Wood. Please come by bike or on foot if possible. This old school blaze pitch was taken over by nature and used by the local community as an oasis of wildness, a place to play, or walk dogs, there are raised beds of gardening, a bee hive in a doocot, fruit trees and mature trees and some simple pleasures to enjoy. Please look after the land as all good geocachers do and be respectful of other users and neighbours of the land.
There was a long battle to save this space from development and in the end the decision went to appeal at the Scottish parliament before North Kelvin Meadow was saved for the community. Usually there are regular events and gatherings see the facebook pages for details and you might be able to join in while you cache.
