This is a simple whereigo. It will activate when you are in the parking lot near the Las Llajas Trailhead in Simi Valley. The physical container is an easy 2-mile round trip hike away.

TEMPORARY DOWNLOAD OPTIONS: I have been unable to get the files to download from the wherigo.com site. Here are temporary instructions to download the cartridge to your iPhone, Andriod or Garmin GPS. I attest that these files are Wherigo files only and do not contain any malware or advertising or anything else. As soon as I can get this files to work on wherigo.com, I will utilize that platform.

Android (Geooh Go or WhereYouGo): From a computer, use the above link to download the file to your computer. When GoogleDrive opens, an arrow will spin as it unsuccessfully tries to Preview or open the file. This is normal. Click on the download icon to download the file. Attach your phone to the computer and move the file into the appropriate folder on your phone.
Garmin Device (Colorado and some Oregon models): Use the link below and then follow the instructions for Android users. If your device does not have a Garmin/Wherigo folder, you cannot run a Wherigo on your device.

You must answer these eight multiple-choice questions correctly to get the coordinates to the physical container. All of the answers are in the "GCNW: Walk and Talk with TheTwonky" video that we created in February 2019.
It is highly recommended that you watch the video and write down the answers before arriving at GZ to save your data. You will have data at the trailhead but will lose it well before you reach the final geocache. If you are going to copy the coordinates to another app or GPS, do it before you leave the parking lot or at least write them down.

The geocache is a nano-sized container placed in a much larger host. There is a slight challenge to find the log, so make sure you put it back exactly as you found it. Retrieve the large container, then swivel to find the log. Reverse the process when returning the geocache to its hiding place. Be careful not to swivel the base when retrieving or replacing the large container.
