Geocache Description:

04 April 2020, 10:00 - 15:00

The time has come for our annual Spring event. We are organizing our CITO on 4th April and would like to invite you to attend an event where you can have fun, help to clean the area and earn a virtual souvenir four your profile by attending Spring CITO event in 2020.

You’ll be able to earn one CITO 2020 Season 1 souvenir by attending or hosting a CITO in March, April, or May 2020. Cache In Trash Out (CITO) event is an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community.

This year we will be trying to involve more people from different communities, but all the geocachers are welcomed to show an example and continue the job until we are no longer needed.
We are planning to cover a wider area, like the same area as Autumntime. We will be doing our two usual spots. Both sides of the Wiltshire Rd footbridge. The canopy will be at the end of Woburn street where you can park your car and it is closer to the community we are looking for to involve. We have a discussion with Lithuanian Community in Hull to come to this area and help to clean up. We are looking forward to seeing more local people and people from anywhere as well. At this time some helpers from the Council will attend our event.

Event date: 04/04/19, SATURDAY
Event time: 10:00 AM - 15:00 PM.
Car Park Postcode: HU3 5LW

Woburn Road and Wiltshire Road are being used daily by families going to and from school, work and the nearest bus stop. As one of those affected I would like to ask the geocaching community to help to clean up the area. It has always been a problem to keep it clean as it is popular by fly-tippers. It is the most general waste, no water or wet areas so it should be no problem for children to take part.

Meet at the parking space at the end of the Woburn street which is located down to Hawthorn avenue HU3, West Hull. Postcode: HU3 5LW

Children are welcomed but must be supervised by an adult.
Disabled people are welcome.

Bags, gloves and litter pickers will be provided and all the bags and other stuff will be collected by Hull City Council.

Please wear suitable clothing, take litter pickers if you have some.

Don't forget TB's if you have to swap or discover.
Cold drinks, snacks will be provided as well.
