Plogging along Cleethorpes seafront and beach Cache In Trash Out Event

The first plogging event to take place on North East Lincolnshire. What is plogging I hear you ask! It's a cross between Picking up Litter whilst jogging and started in Scandinavia in 2016. This event is being hosted by North East Lincolnshire Council as part of the Keep Britain Tidy Great British Spring Clean. We're gathering from 5.45pm for a 6pm start by Cleethorpes Pier. We'll provide all the litter picking kit to distribute to the ploggers and collect the bags of rubbish after the event. Groups of ploggers will head in either direction to cover both ends of the beach. The distance from the Leisure Centre to the top of the North Promenade is approx 1.5 miles (2.4km) so suitable for jogging or walking if you prefer.
