Where: We will meet in the reserve (published co-ordinates), access to the reserve is from Laxton Road.
What: Goats Rue is an invasive plant which quickly out competes other species. We pull Goats Rue annually on the reserve to prevent it spreading. Having successfully pulled Goats Rue over the last couple of years we have seen an overall decline in plant numbers.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance and gloves, please bring your own if you prefer.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction. They will introduce the session and do the health and safety bit prior to work commencing. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
