(Please check the stage descriptions for instructions.)
-------

The Carolinian forest offers a spectacular backdrop for the trails at Hay Creek.

This trail loops through wooded areas and past the Hay Creek Reservoir, providing opportunity for bird watching and viewing a variety of plants. There are signs that describe some of the trees. The trail dips beside the Hay Creek Reservoir and hikers can cross a foot bridge into the conservation area.

Points of Interest:

This conservation area was once a campground. During your walk through the park you will see evidence of abandoned buildings and infrastructure.

Hay Creek reservoir is one of the few remaining reservoirs in Norfolk County as many of the dams that held these reservoirs have fallen into disrepair or have been decommissioned.
