The traditional wooden chest will be available for dropping off, swapping and discovering Geocoins and Travel bugs. There will also be the usual raffle with numerous prizes and caching related items to win.
If you have not been to a Geocaching Event before please feel free to come along, you are welcome to message me in advance and I will look out for you and introduce you to others, you can be assured of a warm welcome.
These events are great for the caching chit-chat and to get some great tips and hints on those unsolved puzzle caches, tricky hides or other advice and help.
Officially, the event runs from 6.30pm until 10.00pm. but there are always early birds and late finishers!
There is additional parking less than 100m away at the Barley Mow Slipway Car Park on Sprats Hatch Lane. The Basingstoke Canal Authority have very kindly agreed to keep the gates open until 2245 for us. In return, there will be a voluntary donation tin for the Canal authority next to the log book.
This is our first hosting of an event so the more the merrier!
