Litter pick at Robinswood Hill 13:00 - 16:00

CITO 2020, Season One:
Attend a CITO from Sunday 1st March through to Sunday 31st May 2020 and get a souvenir
Parking: In the main car park, which is free. See waypoint.
Where: We will meet at the given coordinates near the base of Robinswood Hill to the left of the mini play area. We will also meet back here at 14:30 to enjoy our half time tea break where there will be drinks and biscuits.
What: We will be litter picking around the grounds of Robinswood Hill, you can decide how extreme you want to make it. Maybe collect litter on and around the top of the beacon?
At the top of the hill....
Don't fancy hills well how about a nice gentle stroll around the base or maybe go neither up nor down and grab the middle - sadly there will be plenty of litter for everyone regardless of where you might fancy taking your bin bag for its walk.
When you were only half way up....
Please make note of any large items or broken glass so that the rangers can collect it separately. You are not to try to pick the items up.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing litter pickers, rubbish bags and gloves. You are asked to bring your filled rubbish bags back to the Rangers Station at the published coordinates.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under their instruction.The Park Ranger will introduce the session and do the health and safety bit prior to work commencing. Children will need supervision and pets kept under control.
