Chinook Salmon and Steelhead need to reach their spawning grounds upstream so the fish are routed through ladders where there are a series of small pools. The fish swim against the current and leap from pool to pool, rest a bit, then continue until they exit the ladder.
Salmon typically run from September through June and Steelhead run from December through February. Take your time and enjoy the Viewing Windows, Observation Deck and Educational Displays. Open during daylight hours year round.
