Following a review of parish boundaries, the parish of St Luke was created in 1903.The foundation stone of the new church was laid in 1907 and the church was completed in 1908 at a total cost of £9000. The church was consecrated in 1914.

The cache can be found at N50 43(A-B)(B+2)B :B001 56(A-B)(2B+1)(A+B). The cache is a small box in a camo bag. It is less than 5 minutes away.
