Good Morning from Caerphilly Mountain!
I've been looking for a good excuse to host this Celebration Event since it was awarded to me a few years ago... in the end I decided to keep it simple. It's a Community Celebration so let's just celebrate our awesome caching community! We've had a bit of event drought over the last couple of years but now there are plenty of chances to get out and be a bit more social, this is another opportunity to add to the list. And let's face it, it's Summer, the school holidays are upon us and the sun is (maybe) shining. What better reason is needed to get together for a chinwag, catch up and general gathering? Everyone welcome, the more the merrier, whether you want to come for 5 minutes or stay for the full morning.
If you're a new cacher and don't know anyone or if you have any questions, feel free to drop me a message beforehand so I can look out for you.
We will meet in the outdoor seated area, there's plenty of parking and it should be easy to find. There should be a small amount of cover but bearing in mind this is a Welsh summer, it would be worth wearing appropriate clothing (+/- bringing umbrellas or sun hats) for whatever the day throws at us!
There is no obligation to buy food or drink but the option will be available. If you are likely to want food please can you indicate in your "will attend" as the cafe would like to have a rough idea so that they can prepare and make sure they have enough staff working.
