What better way to celebrate International Geocaching Day than with a Picnic in the Park?
Normally, we would be in Muiravonside hosting an event on International Geocaching Day but we are having another year off. This year we have decided to invite you to bring your own picnic and join us in Callendar Park for a couple of hours. This is a Community Celebration Event, so not only will you receive a souvenir for attending the event on this special day, you will also receive a special icon in your stats when you attend and log the event.

There are food vans and a cafe in the vicinity for those of you who would prefer not to pack a picnic. Please bring a rug or a chair to sit on and be prepared for the Scottish weather. We would like to see as many folk as possible attending to help set a new Geocaching World Record, and help towards earning yet another souvenir. That's two possible souvenirs and a rare icon for attending this event.
Rumour has it that there may be cake to help with the celebrations!
