Winter Solstice (almost)
Winter solstice 2022 in Northern Hemisphere (Helensburgh) is at 21:48 on Wednesday 21st December. Unable to host an event on that day due to work commitments, we opted for the 31st December. You'll be glad to know that the days will already be getting longer again.
On Saturday 31st December, Sunset in Helensburgh will be at 15:53, with the civil twilight ending at 16:40.
Join us to see the last sunset of the year on the Promenade in Helensburgh. The town is known for its amazing sunsets, so all we need is a clear sky. Dress warm and be prepared for the ever changing weather and temperatures. There will be some nibbles, feel free to bring your own flask with your preferred content. In case the weather turns bad, we can "escape" to the nearby Pub on the other side of the road.
