We have worked on several events with Friends of Bertha Brock Park, Just Below Freezing and the Cold Cache Crew. We decided it was finally time to host an event on our own. We talked to redhedmary about doing this but she had to work all day and was going to miss out on all of the fun Leap Day caching activities….so we made certain that our event was at a time that she could attend.
We hope that everyone has a great day leaping from event to event and then possibly ending your caching day with our Final Leap. We will meet at the coords - a small, covered gazebo in a public park that is right off M21 (Fulton St). The event will begin at 8:45 with homemade cookies, including some gluten-free cookies in case anyone needs that option and then at 9:00 our very first night cache will be published. If you come early to the event, you might see a tack or two in the park - just ignore it until 9pm. Everyone who finds the cache on Leap Day will receive a shared FTF.
Update 2/24/20: We have added a regular cache and a second night cache to our event. We highly recommend hiking boots for the second one!
