Geocache Description:

Rocks, Locks, and a Box like Ft. Knox!

I've included a pic of the cache and also a pic showing the general location of the cache because the terrain type here makes it difficult to get good coordinates.  You're looking for a locked ammo box, tethered to a huge tree.

In order to claim the cache, you must unlock the lock to sign the log.  You may not use any destructive methods.  This cache is about finesse, not force.

Look at the pic of the cache, read the attributes, understand what is required, and come prepared.  If you don't come prepared, you will not succeed.

I will visit the cache after every log.  If I find it has been bent, damaged, twisted, cut, irradiated, disassembled, etc...I will remove your log.  DON'T FORCE IT.  You must unlock the lock the normal way.

The path to this cache is rocky, slippery, and dangerous.  See the other cache descriptions in this area, and make sure you are up for the challenge.  When I placed this cache, the river was high and it was raining the entire time.  It was still possible, as I made it, but the danger is higher under these conditions.

I gorilla-ed some huge rocks around to conceal the cache's tether.  Please do not leave the tether exposed.  Do not attempt to remove the tether or the locking hardware from the cache.  I used copious amounts of red loctite and covered the hardware with caulk and tape to protect it from the elements.

Feel free to post a pic of you holding the (open) lock!

Look carefully how the cache is closed so you can leave it the same way for the next cacher.  Don't forget to re-lock the lock for the next cacher!

Please don't offer any hints about how to unlock the lock.

This is supposed to be fun, but some people have gotten irritated.  Do note that this is a D=5.  That means it should take substantial preparation and/or multiple trips to solve the field puzzle.  I wouldn't recommend this cache unless you accept there is a fair chance you won't be able to access it.

As a bit of extra fun, this is a CASH CACHE.  I put the following in an envelope: (4) $10 bills, (2) $20 bills, (1) $50 bill, (1) $100 bill and mixed them up.  Then a 9 year old girl picked one bill out randomly.  This bill is in the cache for FTF, along with an FTF coin.  You have a 50% chance of getting at least $20.  This prize claimed by Serrabou! (It was $20).
