Wll there be six more weeks of winter, or will we have an early spring?
Let's HANGOUT with Tacky Jack and see if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow today!
Groundhog's Day superstition dates all the way back to 1887. Some say it was a local Pennyslvania news reporter that created the legend, some say it comes from German immigrants, while others say it has Christian roots. There's no way to really know where it came from, but its all in good fun. Millions of people today watch to see this furry rodent come out of a hole and tell them if they are going to have an early spring or six more weeks of winter. I'm the one who always roots for an early spring! Either way we are just looking forward to meeting new cachers as well as seeing familiar faces.
