Geocache Description:

"Tee Time":  the specific time (think appointment) which a golfer or foursome of golfers are supposed to start playing golf.  More specifically, it is the time which the first stroke should be taken by the golfer starting their round of golf.

When approaching this Cache, you'll have a nice view from near the #8 tee box on Stonewall Resort's golf course. The tee box is where golers start, or "tee up" their golf ball for their first stroke toward a hole.

If golfers are present, it is customary to be silent or only speak in whispers, as they prepare to hit the ball.

If you're looking toward the golf course, immediately behind you is the old Stonewall Resort water treatment plant.  Until 2016, the resort pumped water from the lake & treated it for public consumption in this building.  Once the water was treated, it was pumped to a half million gallon tank further along this road.  The resort is now using public water, but the storage tank is still utilized to better support the resort during the busy seasons.

The resort sill utilizes lake water to irrigate the golf course, during dry spells.  While they aren't readily visible, the golf course utilizes a series of waterlines and sprinklers which activate automatically, usually during the evening.

A short 75 yard walk further up this road provides a nice view over the main park road, across the golf course to the lake and park mountains beyond.

Between resort staff, golfers and other guests, this is a high muggle area.  Use caution.

Stonewall Resort State Park closes to non-overnight guests at 10:00 p.m. and reopens at 6:00 a.m. Please limit geocaching to proper times.
