Vous avez devant vous le premier de six panneaux explicatifs donnant des détails sur le passé de la commune. A chaque panneau, il faudra trouver la réponse à un indice qui vous permettra de déverrouiller la boîte contenant le logbook au final. Le circuit à suivre est indiqué sur les panneaux.
Etape 1: départ de la Mairie de Villers-Bretonneux. Réduction à un chiffre du montant du timbre de la carte postale (A).
Etape 2: Eglise. B est le troisième chiffre de l’annee de consécration.
Etape 3: usines textiles. Pas d’indice ici en prévision d’importants travaux sur la route.
Etape 4: Mémorial aux soldats des FFI. Pas non plus d’indice ici.
Etape 5: Place Robinvale, commune australienne jumelée à VB depuis 1984. C est le jour de mai 1984 quand Mrs Joyce Wood a inauguré la Place Robinvale. Le panneau signalétique a changé de côté de la rue. Il se trouve maintenant sur le terre-plein central. Peut-être qu'il y a une info sur la plaque du nom de la place?
Etape 6: Musée Franco-australien. Vous êtes arrivés à la fin du cricuit. Ici, vous trouverez D,la première lettre du premier mot en rouge sur la façade de l’école Victoria. R=1; F=2; P=3; U=4; L=5; S=6; W=7; Z=8; V=9; G=0.

In front of you, you will find the first of six information panels on the history of the commune. At each panel, you will need to find a number that will be required to open the container with the logbook. The tour itinerary is indicated on each panel.
Step 1: start from the Townhall of Villers-Bretonneux. Reduce the amount of the stamp on postcard to one number.
Step 2: the Church. B is the third number of the year until which the third church of VB was used after the destruction of the previous one during the Great War.
Step 3 : Important factories in the textile business. No hints to find here due to programmed major roadworks.
Step 4: Memorial for the soldiers of the FFI. No hint here as panel might be removed during programmed roadworks.
Step 5: Place Robinvale, the twin city in Australia of VB since 1984. C is the day of May 1984 on which Mrs Joyce Wood inaugurated the Robinvale Square. The information sign has moved to the other side of the road. It's now on the grassy traffic island. Maybe you'll find more info on the street sign above the new bakery?
Step 6: Franco-australian Museum. You have arrived at the final stop of the tour. Here, you will find D, the first letter of the first word written in red on the front of the Victoria School. R=1; F=2; P=3; U=4; L=5; S=6; W=7; Z=8; V=9; G=0.
