Welcome to the fifth Cave Bagger event.
The plan is to make this a monthly event visiting the caves and mines of Derbyshire.
The events will be held at the entrance with the usual geochat and trackable swapping. There is no obligation to enter the mine and there are a number of established caches in the area.
If you do choose to enter it is at your own risk. I am not a cave guide although i have entered this mine once before a good few years ago.
Devonshire Cavern
A nice easy mine suitable for all. One of a number of lead & flurospar mines in this area.
Plenty of video footage online.
There is no parking near this one so you will need to find parking in Matlock Bath. Charges may apply.
Be warned its a steep walk up to the mine!
