en un lieu appelé « ILE DE LABREILLE ».
Cette zone fait partie du Domaine Public Fluvial. C’est une zone protégée classée Natura 2000. Merci de respecter les lieux.
Née en Espagne au pied du Pic d’Aneto, la Garonne dévale les contreforts des Pyrénées tantôt libre, tantôt freinée par des barrages, tantôt canalisée jusqu’à la « ville rose » de Toulouse, puis reprend son cours vers l’océan.
Arrivée dans le deuxième département qu’elle traverse, le Tarn et Garonne, la pente devient faible et elle s’étale langoureusement en larges méandres à travers la plaine. On dit qu’elle divague au fil des variations d’eau des crues dues aux pluies et à la fonte des neiges déplaçant sable, galets, limon et alluvions, creusant d’un côté, déposant d’un autre selon la dynamique des fleuves.

- 1° allez au WP 1 et indiquez ce que vous voyez au sol qui indique que l’ile a été formée par la rivière ?
- 2° allez au WP 2 et indiquez devant quelle partie du fleuve vous vous trouvez ?
- 3° allez au WP 3 et indiquez devant quelle partie du fleuve vous vous trouvez ?
- 4° qu’est-ce que l’on peut dire de l’observation des deux photos (de 1950 et de nos jours) ?
- 5° vous expliquerez avec vos mots pourquoi l’appellation « ile » n’est plus adaptée.
- 6° une photo de vous ou de votre GPS devant l'hôtel à insectes serait un plus mais bien sûr cela reste facultatif.
Attention cette cache est une earthcache. Il n’y a pas de boite à decouvrir.

2 ° go to WP 2 and indicate in front of which part of the river are you?
3 ° go to WP 3 and indicate in front of which part of the river you are?
4. What can be said about the observation of the two photos (from 1950 and nowadays)?
5 ° explain with your words why the name "island" is no longer appropriate.
6 ° a photo of you or your GPS in front of the insect hotel would be a plus but of course it is optional.
