...so I went caching instead. My job requires a certain amount of level headedness and I knew I couldn't maintain my standards of professionalism today so I decided to go do something that would improve my mood. I visited a local thrift store. I found a nice container and a log book, and then looked for swag. (The one thing I forgot was a writing implament.) I've always enjoyed shopping, particularly at thrift stores. It's the hunt that I love. That explains why I love Geocaching too. This container is fun, not because it goes well with the location, but because caching in a place like the one on the lid is a dream of mine.
This cache is my first addition to "the mess on the other side of the canyon", as another local cacher called it. I have always enjoyed hiking and driving out here and I've been looking for a good cache to drop.
You can drive almost right up to it or enjoy a bit of a walk.
