Rømø Fyr
Überall an der Küste Dänemarks kann man die verschiedensten Leuchttürme sehen. Warum eigentlich nicht auf Rømø?
Das ist eines der grössten Geheimnisse der Insel. Es ist auch nicht leicht, einem Einheimischen ein paar Hinweise zu entlocken. Unseren Recherchen nach gab es um den Bau des Leuchtturms nämlich einen grossen Streit zwischen den Nord- und den Südinsulanern. Jeder von ihnen behauptete, dass sie die höchste Erhebung der Insel vorzuweisen hätten, die so einem Bauwerk gerecht werden könnte. Im Norden der Høstbjerg und im Süden der Stagebjerg. Dort sollte der Turm jeweils seinen Platz finden.
Letztendlich einigte man sich nach einiger Zeit zum Bau des Turms auf einen ebenfalls gleichhohen Berg zwischen den beiden. Alle waren zufrieden und stolz auf ihren schönen Leuchtturm.
Viele Jahre später zog eines Nachts ein fürchterlicher Sturm auf. Die Wellen schlugen meterhoch und eine Sturmflut verschlang fast die ganze Insel. Auch der Leuchtturm hatte keine Chance. Der Wind peitschte gegen die Mauern und die Wellen unterspülten das Fundament. Der Turm war nicht mehr zu retten und fiel in einem Stück um. Mit der Zeit geriet er in Vergessenheit, wurde vom Sand bedeckt und von Bäumen überwuchert. Aber wenn man etwas sucht und genau hinschaut, kann man den Leuchtturm am Fusse des Berges noch heute finden.
Begebt euch zu diesem Berg und erfüllt folgende Aufgaben:
Vom Namen des Hügels addiert ihr die Buchstabenwerte = X
Zählt alle Stufen hinauf einschließlich der Podeste = Y
X-7 = Entfernung in Metern
(Y+9)3 = Richtung in Grad
Peilt nun von der obersten Stufe, um den Leuchtturm zu finden.

Bitte beachtet, dass seit einiger Zeit ein Verbot besteht, durch die Dünen zu laufen. Über einen kleinen Umweg kann man das Final auch ganz legal erreichen.
Rømø Fyr
Everywhere along the coast of Denmark you can see different of lighthouses. Why not on Rømø?
This is one of the biggest secrets of the island. It is also not easy to elicit a few hints from a local. According to our research the construction of the lighthouse was a major dispute between the northern and southern islanders. Each of them claimed that they had the highest elevation of the island that could do justice to such a structure. In the north the Høstbjerg and in the south the Stagebjerg.
There the tower should find its place. After some time they agreed to build the tower on a similarly high mountain between the both. Everyone was happy and proud of their beautiful lighthouse.
Many years later a terrible storm came up one night. The waves hit meter high and a storm surge devoured almost the whole island. Even the lighthouse had no chance. The wind whipped against the walls and the waves undermined the foundation. The tower was not rescue and fell down in one piece. The lighthouse was forgotten, covered with sand and overgrown with trees. But if you are looking for something and look closely you can still find the lighthouse at the foot of the mountain today.
Go to this mountain and solve the following tasks:
From the name of the hill you add the letter values = X
Counts up all steps including the pedestals = Y
X-7 = distance in meters
(Y+9)3 = direction in degrees
Now take aim from the top step to find the lighthouse.

Please note that walking through the dunes has been banned for some time. With a small detour you can reach the final quite legally.
