The first Church Micro, Church Micro 1...Earlswood, was published on 7th November 2007, but it was first found at 08:25 on 8th November 2007, by BaSHful, so this event has been timed to coincide with that anniversary.
The Chilihouse, or at least one of us, will be waking up with a bucket of coffee (other beverages are available and, of course, no purchase is necessary to attend...) in the obvious place on Friday 8th November 2019. We'll make sure that we have something caching related on our table to help you recognise us.
We will be there from 08:30-09:30 - hopefully that allows those of you en route to work or on the school run to pop in and say hello, and for those with more time, to stay and have a more leisurely coffee and a chat. We will actually be there from 08:25, to celebrate the anniversary of the first find; we were not able to select this time on the cache submission page...
What has a coffee shop to do with churches I hear you ask? Well, nothing, but it's a convenient place to meet, sheltered from whatever the weather has to throw at us that day!
You can also, of course, bring along any trackables you have for swapping or discovering.
As this event has an official Church Micro number it will count toward your Church Micro statistics.
