For a while there, I hosted a semi-regular event here at Ikea, but then summer came along and I just never felt I had the time to hold them, which is ironic considering that it was SUMMER for goodness' sake. Everyone expects to have more time to do things in the summer, but that may be part of the problem -- there are simply TOO many things to do besides hosting events.
Well, now that school is back in session and we are into a pretty solid routine, I feel free to host these events again. I really enjoy the location and I think you will too. We're talking PLENTY of space for any number of people to gather, cheap food if you are hungry, lots of choices for parking...and the joys of meeting up with like-minded geocaching folks. What could be better? Why, Second Breakfast, of course! I usually need to eat something before I head out the door to take my daughter to school, but the breakfast here is incredibly cheap, so I like to call these meetings Second Breakfast. Oh, and there's free coffee if you arrive before 10 o'clock!
So come as you are, bring your trackables to share, bring your pathtags to trade, show off the latest swag that you bought, and bring some stories to tell. I would love to hear about the latest challenge that you are working on, any puzzles that you are attempting to solve, and even, if you are willing to share, geocaches that you are planning on hiding.
