Geocache Description:

Please do not log this cache unless you actually visit the cache site. I will delete your log. Several people have logged it by looking up the answer on the internet. This, in my opinion, cheapens the intent of geocaching.

These sculptures are at the site of the finish line for Spokane's Bloomsday, one of the three largest timed roadraces in the world. The sculptures were placed here in honor of those who participate in the Bloomsday run, which usually has well over 50,000 participants. Bloomsday is usually the largest timed roadrace in the world, but once in a while we allow the Bay to Breakers race in San Francisco to grab that honor, just so they have a claim to fame.

The sculpture depicts all the types of participants in the race, runners, walkers, wheelchair riders, old and young. There are about forty individual participants, and they definitely get some strange looks by folks driving by!
