When you are 15 feet from the cache, you might be asking yourself this...

The water levels on the Potomac should not be taken lightly. Please click here to see the current conditions. This cache was hidden at a reading of about 3 feet and while doable, you'll hit a lot of rocks.

You will also pass areas containing small rapids if you trek from Algonkian to Riverbend. This might not be the best trip for a novice kayaker. Plan before you go!
