Geocache Description:

Way back in 1940 my father worked for the Civil Conservation Corps, (CCC camps,) that put many men to work through the depression. They were paid $30 per month with free room and board. He ran a bull dozer in Tomlinson Run when it was being built and I heard stories as a child about building this dam. One of the stories was about the hand valve on top of the dam that regulated the water flow. You are going to hike to that stage one where that valve is located and find the 3 digit number nearest the base. It is the same number on two sides. For as long as I can remember this was just a rusty old relic, but recently it has been painted black and looks brand new. If you look closly there is the number 1934 cast into it also. I think that was the year it was cast at the foundry.

To find the final coordinates, insert the first digit of that 3 digit number in the following:

N 40 32.577 W 080 35,(?)34
