This is my personal paradise. 5 minutes from city, but you will already feel deep in the woods. If you are fed up with the city life it is the closest escape point. Walk around to discover more or bring your picnic and enjoy the nature! Of course, cache in, trash out!
The Trail
The walk is not long, but it is full of satisfying nature. If you follow the trailhead you need to pass a tiny river branch but you do not need to get wet. You can return the same way or continue further if you want to walk.
The trail is dog and kid friendly, but you may need to carry younger kids at a few points. Watch out for cross bikes and ticks when the weather is hot.
If you want to follow an alternative trail, there are many but some of them passes through private property. The owners are ok with bypassers as long as you respect the cows.
The Cache
The cache is a small, waterproof tupperware box. There is a logbook, a pen and some treasures inside. Please don't forget to cover the cache as you find it.
