The posted coordinates are for parking for both the lunch and the GIFF portions of the event.
This year, the West Los Angeles Geocachers and gsmX2 will be hosting the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) on Saturday, November 9, 2019. The event will start with a No-Host lunch from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the With Love Market and Cafe, 1969 S Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90007. This is a short walk from parking. There is no requirement for you to purchase anything at the cafe or market.
The GIFF will be shown at the Los Angeles Christian Middle School, 1620 Cordova Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007, the posted coordinates. This venue is upstairs and IS NOT wheelchair accessible.
The films will start at 1:20 p.m. We'll have the opportunity to socialize, vote for our favorite films and possibly hold a raffle at the conclusion of the films.
It is easier to park once and walk twice than to try to find two parking spaces. Go to the posted coordinates.
IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION:
The Cordova Street entrance to the parking area will only be open these two time frames before the event: [11:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.] and [1:00 p.m. to 1:20 p.m.]
There is parking on Vermont and With Love has a lot on 20th street
IMPORTANT CAFE INFORMATION:
To avoid extended wait times for food at "With Love", it is recommended that you order online in advance either through Yelp or the "With Love" website, https://www.withlovela.com/ using Shop and In Store/Pickup Delivery off the drop down menus
You can post your Attended log and claim your souvenir by attending any portion of the event.
What's a movie without popcorn? I have no clue, so popcorn will be provided. Please bring your own non-alcoholic beverage if you want something to drink.
