Bridgehunter (see Website) describes this bridge as "Abandoned stringer bridge over Red River on old US 70 / 183", plaque mentions that it was built by the Texas and Oklahoma Highway Departments. Bridgehunter indicates that the length of its largest span is 75.1', with a total length of of 5,463.2' (1.0 mi.) and a deck width of 24'.
