Altijd al eens een vliegtuig van dichtbij willen zien? Onder een vliegtuig door willen lopen? De wielen van een vliegtuig aan willen raken? Dan is dit -met deze cache- je kans!

In de tuin van een hotel (is ook als niet-gast te betreden*) staat een Boeing 747. Met een spanwijdte van 64,4 meter en een hoogte van 19,4 meter is het echt een enorm vliegtuig! Het heeft nog wel wat voeten in de aarde gehad om het vliegtuig op die plek te krijgen. Er is zelfs een hele snelweg voor afgesloten om het gevaarte van Schiphol naar zijn eindbestemming te verplaatsen! Zie hier een kleine reportage over de verplaatsing.

Nadat je het vliegtuig hebt bewonderd, aangeraakt en foto’s hebt gemaakt, kan je in de mooi aangelegde tuin op zoek gaan naar de cache. Laat de cache vast zitten aub. Let op dreuzels.

En mocht je nog meer vliegtuigen willen zien: in de bar op de 9^e verdieping van het hotel heb je prachtig uitzicht op Schiphol. Als je geluk hebt, zie je de vliegtuigen voor je neus landen of opstijgen.

In the garden of a hotel (this can also be entered as a non-guest*) stands a Boeing 747. With a wingspan of 64.4 meters and a height of 19.4 meters, it is really a huge aircraft! It took a lot of effort to get the plane to that place. A whole highway has even been closed to move the colossus from Schiphol Airport to its final destination! And if you want to see more planes: in the bar on the 9th floor of the hotel you have a wonderful view of Schiphol Airport. If you are lucky, you will see the planes landing or taking off in front of you.
