🇬🇧A Palindrome Day happens when the day’s date can be read the same way backwards and forwards. The dates are similar to word palindromes in that they are symmetrical.
Because date formats vary from country to country, not all dates that are considered palindromic in one kind of date format are Palindrome Days in another. For instance, February 2, 2020 or 02-02-2020 is only a palindromic date in the mm-dd-yyyy and dd-mm-yyyy format, but it isn't if you write the date as m-dd-yy (2-02-2020) or as yyyy-mm-dd (2020-02-02).

It'll take place on the top of Pilaite hillfort on Sunday, February 2nd.
The start of the event is at 13:30.
13:30 - 14:00 - awaiting for attendees, catting, GC / TB exchange, woodcoin exchange, cache logging.
14:00 - 14:15 - registration and briefing for Mini Geo Hunt.
14:15 - 15:15 - Mini Geo Hunt.
15:15 - 15:30 - Sharing experience and the end of the event.
There will be an afterparty after the end of the event (participating is optional, but fun), it'll be announced right before the end of the event.
The end of the event: 15:30 val.
Mini Geo Hunt - is the hunt for fake-geocaches in order to get points. The person who gets more points wins.
Game requirements:
- fully charged smartphone with Maps.me app installed;
- comfortable geocaching wear, suitable for current weather conditions;
- good mood.
🇱🇹Palindromo diena – tai data, kuri skaitoma iš galo (atbulai), reiškia tą patį, ką ir įprastai skaitoma. Palindrominės datos yra tokios pat, kaip ir žodžiai ar frazės, nes yra simetriškos.
Dėl to, kad datų formatai įvariose šalyse skiriasi, tai ir Palindromo dienos gali būti užrašytos skirtingai. Pvz, vasario 2, 2020 ar 2020-02-02 yra vienintėlė Palindromo diena mm-dd-yyyy and dd-mm-yyyy formatu.

13:30 - 14:00 - dalyvių pasitikimas, bendravimas, GC ir TB mainai, medinukų mainai, užsirašymas logbooke.
14:00 - 14:15 - dalyvių registracija ir instruktažas prieš Mini Geo Medžioklę.
14:15 - 15:15 - Mini Geo Medžioklė.
15:15 - 15:30 - Dalinimasis įspūdžiais ir renginio pabaiga.
Iškart po renginio bus afterparty (dalyvavimas nėra būtinas, bet patiks), apie afterparty dalyviai gaus informaciją tik prieš pat renginio pabaigą.
Renginio pabaiga: 15:30 val.
Mini Geo Medžioklė - tai pseudo-lobių paieška ir užsirašymas juose taškams gauti. Laimės tas, kas surinks daugiausia taškų.
Žaidimui reikia:
- įkrauto išmaniojo telefono su įdiegta programėle Maps.me;
- patogios ir pritaikytos geocachingo įpatumams aprangos, bei avalinės;
- geros nuotaikos.
