I've worked with claystalker and the Peoria Parks District to plan three CITO events in the Peoria area this fall. This will be the second of three!
For this event, we will be working on maintaining a section of the Illinois River Bluff Trail in Robinson Park, north of Mossville Road. Accoring to a Peoria Parks District volunteer, "the location can be found by walking down the trail from the trailhead to the creek level, then following the trail to the left after crossing the big bridge. ... The section north of the creek along the bluff could use some repair--mainly the edging along the trail has fallen and needs repaired or replaced."
We will meet at the parking coordinates at 1PM and hike down the hill to begin working. If you come after 1PM, please meet us along the trail in the vicinity of the posted coordinates.
Tools will be provided. Please bring work gloves if you would like to use them.
