HR - Pronalasci rimskih novčića na ovom području pokazuju da su Krapinske Toplice bile poznate još i u rimsko doba pod nazivom “Aquae vivae” - živa voda. Zapisi iz 1772. godine govore o korištenju topličkih vrela te postojanju tri topla izvora uz koja su izgrađene tri kupelji - Gospodska, Dubrava i Rukavinina kupelj.
ENG - The discoveries of Roman coins in this area show that Krapinske Toplice was also known in Roman times as "Aquae vivae" - living water. The records from 1772 testify of the use of thermal water springs, existence of three hot water springs, nearby which three baths were built - Gospodska, Dubrava and Rukavina's bath.
HR - U drugoj polovini 19. stoljeća, točnije, od 1859. godine, Toplice doživljavaju „Zlatno doba“ zdravstvenog turizma. Tada Jakob Badl gradi tri nove kupelji (Jakobovu, Marijinu i Pučku kupelj), hotel, restoran i lječilište.
ENG - In the second half of the 19th century, more precisely, since 1859, the Spa experienced the "Golden Age" of health tourism. Then Jacob Badl builds three new baths (Jacob's, Mary's and the People's Bath), a hotel, a restaurant and a spa.
HR - 1866. godine svečano je otvoreno Blagovalište (Restauration) i u njemu Cursalon - plesna dvorana za zabavu gostiju. Jakov Badl uredio je i perivoj s palmama, bananama, agavama, ružama – današnji „Bolnički park“. Osjetljive biljke iz parka čuvane su tijekom zime u grijanom stakleniku (Glasshaus) na mjestu današnjeg Toplice Hotela. Gradnjom i uređenjem parka, izrazio je zahvalnost za izliječeni išijas u ljekovitoj hipertermalnoj vodi i time odredio razvoj Krapinskih Toplica kao lječilišta, koje je u ono vrijeme bilo omiljeno i mondeno mjesto za rekreaciju i brigu o zdravlju.
ENG - In 1866, the Restauration and the Cursalon - a ballroom for entertaining guests - was officially opened. Jacob Badl also arranged a park with a palm trees, bananas, agaves, roses - today's "Hospital Park". The sensitive plants from the park are kept in the heated glasshouse (Glasshaus) at the site of today's Toplice Hotel during the winter. By building and decorating this Hospital park he expressed his gratitude for the cured sciatica in the healing hyperthermal water and thereby defined the development of Krapinske Toplice as a health resort, which at that time was a favorite and fashionable place for recreation and health care.
HR - Danas je ovaj park mjesto za šetnju i odmor, a u njemu se nalazi i malo dječje igralište. U neposrednom okruženju parka nalaze se Centar za odgoj i obrazovanje „Krapinske Toplice“, Specijalna bolnica za medicinsku rehabilitaciju „Krapinske Toplice“, Specijalna bolnica za kardiovaskularnu kirurgiju „Magdalena“ te Specijalna bolnica za ortopediju i traumatologiju “Akromion”. U neposrednoj blizini Bolničkog parka nalazi se i Vodeni park „Aquae Vivae“.
ENG - Today, this park is a place for walking and relaxation, and there is a small children's playground. In the immediate vicinity of the park are the Center for Education "Krapinske Toplice", Special Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation "Krapinske Toplice", Special Hospital for Cardiovascular Surgery "Magdalena" and Special Hospital for Orthopedics and Traumatology "Akromion". In the immediate vicinity of the Hospital Park is the Aquae Vivae Water Park.
