TPL: Taipei Public Library
Between 1930 and 1947, four community libraries were set up in the Taipei area, with funding donated by the local gentry. In 1952, the four libraries were integrated and officially named the Taipei Public Library. Today, other than the main library, there are more than 44branches, 11 public reading rooms, 7 intelligent libraries, and over 60 service locations in and around all 12 administrative districts of Taipei city.
台北市立圖書館最初是地方士紳於民國19年至36年間，陸續捐資設立的四所社區圖書館。民國41年將4館合併後，正式成立台北市立圖書館。成立至今，除總館外，已擁有44所分館、11所民眾閱覽室及7所智慧圖書館。全市超過60個服務據點遍布於台北市各個行政區。
To satisfy the versatile needs of different readers and groups, the Taipei Public Library set up a collection system, where “each branch highlights one special area of interest”. Based on its location, each branch established different special collections to display a featured topic.
為了滿足公共圖書館不同讀者與族群的多元閱讀需求，台北市立圖書館以「一館一特色」的分工典藏機制，各分館根據區域特性建立不同的特色館藏，強化主題服務的概念。
Tainmu branch is located at the end of Tainmu Marketplace and the beginning of old water pipeline trail. Because it’s at the Tainmu community which live many Chinese and foreign people, and near the Taipei American school and the Taipei Japanese school. Tainmu branch collect a lots of English and Japanese books since it open. Over ten years later, Tainmu branch has accumulated a certain number of collection which included normal books, audiobooks, audio-visual materials, reference books, journals and newspapers. However, take into the consideration that people get the information of American and Japanese culture are more easily, so the branch sets a special area which is about European culture. It display the Europe-related books and audio-visual materials that makes people could keep contact with more diverse cultural information.
天母分館座落於天母商圈盡頭與水管古道的起點，由於位處中外人士聚居的天母社區，附近有台北美國學校及台北日僑學校的關係，自開館以來便廣泛徵集許多英日文書籍。發展十餘年來，天母分館在一般圖書、有聲書、視聽資料、參考工具書及期刊報紙方面，都已累積一定的館藏數量。然而，考量到國人對於美日文化的資訊取得較為容易，特別設置歐洲文化櫥窗，以專區陳列歐洲主題之圖書或視聽資料，使大家接觸到的文化資訊能夠更為多元。
Please note:
- The cache IS PLACED INSIDE the library with the librarian's permission.Please find the clue of the final at the posted coordinates.
寶藏就藏在圖書館裡！請在公佈的座標找到關於寶盒位置的提示。
- However, the librarians won't tell you the location of the cache, you'll need to find it by youself.
但請自己找出寶藏所在位置，不要打擾館員工作。
- As you'll need to enter the library for the cache, please be quiet and careful for not disturbing other readers/muggles.
進入圖書館後請保持安靜，不要打擾到其他讀者或麻瓜。
- Skills of stealth and not-too-sneaky are required.
請盡可能的不要被其他人發現你正在尋寶，但也不要表現得太過鬼鬼祟祟...
- Don't forget to bring your own pen. Each found log that don't have the attached signature on the log book would be deleted without inform. The stamp inside is not for trade.
記得至少帶上一支筆，好好的在記錄本上簽下自己的大名吧。另，請勿取走寶盒內印章。

Opening Hour: Tuesday to Saturday: 08:30 - 21:00; Sunday and Monday: 09:00 - 17:00
The Library is closed to the public on all National Holidays. Also, the Library is closed on the first Thursday of each month, which is the Library's cleaning day.
開放時間: 週二至週六：8:30-21:00；週日、週一：9:00-17:00。
經政府公告之放假日為休館日；每月第一個星期四為圖書整理清潔日，不對外開放。
