Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to the 2019 Geocaching Promotion: Mystery at the Museum.

What is Mystery at the Museum? Well, it is a chance for geocachers to help the police solve the largest jewel heist in history!

Look over the crime scene at GZ. The crooks left fingerprints, footprints and even one of the jewels. There is a small container for SWAG and TB's. If you have not already, consult with the detective and figure out your next steps. You need to collect some evidence, gather the jewels and if you are a master detective, err.. geocacher, then you need to solve the combination to the museum's safe (since the crooks changed the code). Check out the remaining artwork from a previous exhibit. There are still some trackables to discover. Pay your respects to a previous cache near this location that had to be archived. Thankfully, the log is not locked away in the vault. BYOP, sign it and return it to its original location without giving away any details of the geocache.

This is located on a church's property. This is placed with permission of the pastor of the church. Please only cache during daylight. Please respect the church grounds and always CITO.

I selected the thorns attribute since there is some old barbed wire on the fence. It shouldn't be a problem, but just be aware of it.

I will fully admit that this was a rushed cache. It was a last second idea and I wanted to hide it so it went live with the new promotional event. My skills as a wood worker have not improved much since this one: GC85WX3 . I also learned the hard way that I didn't have enough paint or enough skills with painting to make this cache as amazing as I had planned.

Hopefully, you will enjoy my attempt at a fun cache for this event. I hope it brings you and your Geocaching profile a smiley.

There is no need to pull on the artwork - paintings or pictures. The log is a green notepad and it is in the cache, it will just require a bit of creativity to find. The jewel displays are glued in place, please do not break them worse than the thieves who stole the jewels. Good luck and Happy Caching!
