Cestě se také říká Papežská, protože mezi prvovýstupci byl i Achille Ratti, pozdější papež Pius XI. Přesnější by bylo označení prvosestupci, protože trasa byla paradoxně objevena při sestupu. Jako výstupová byla prostoupena až o 30 let později, v r. 1919. Ale kvůli keši nemusíte lézt až na vrchol Mont Blancu, i když i tam se schovává jeden bod. Stačí vystoupat na chatu Gonella ve výšce 3071m. Přeji dobré počasí, hodně síly a štěstí.
